Gay Porn & Marriage

Original site for this image.

How fucking hard is it to find a decent personal gay blog? I am pretty damn good at research, but I just can’t seem to find anything substantial. Almost everything out there falls into one of two categories. There are the blogs dedicated to large scale images of two bears riding bareback or anecdotes of sexual conquest, or they are running commentaries (sometimes cut-and-paste from other websites) on gay rights and causes. Is it really all gay porn and marriage?

Don’t get me wrong – I’m a fan of both at various times, but mostly I just want to find a blog by a gay man that hooks me in like a good book. It doesn’t need to go anywhere. The best blogs are usually about nothing in particular, they’re just honest and open.

Homosexuals – please start more personal blogs! If anyone knows of a great gay blog, let me know. Share the love.

To shift gears, it was my birthday on the weekend. Steadily heading toward 30, and actually I don’t really care. I have a feeling age will work for me. Here’s hoping, anyway! 30 is supposedly gay death, but I don’t buy it. I’m already married off and talking kids with Cubby anyway.

Get blogging!

Love you all. Cub. Xo.

  1. Hey DoctorCub! Nice post. I agree with ya – most gay blogs out there are about porn (or related matters) or of a political nature.

My first blog was actually a personal blog, I think you might have liked it. I mostly talked about my life as a single gay man, or as a gay man in relationships (when I had them) – It was not specifically a gay blog, but, well, I guess that’s what you meant up there. I’ve been tempted to bring it to life again… I have really cool posts I would want to see lost in time and space. Maybe one of these days I find the time for it 🙂 (and it was on http://www.lifeofwannab.com – I also used to hide behind a pseudo-name, but nowadays I don’t feel that need anymore)

I’m enjoying your blog, it is a breath of fresh air. keep it up 🙂

    • Hey Hugo, thanks for the compliment! It’s really nice to hear feedback like that, especially since most of us lurk in the background of blogs we love and never think to let the author know you’re even there and reading. Or is that just me?

You should resurrect that blog! I had a blog of five years that I deleted for certain reasons but I resisted with all my might! I MISS that blog!

      Thanks for reading, mate.

I mean… I am only starting n I have noone reading my blog so I thought I would start heating up a bit with some excitements… I have thousand things to write, things that a chaser have to go through in general… but slowly they will come. anyway… thanks for sharing…

ps. andrew’s blog is actually very nice for a 17 yo guy.

  3. Hey Chaser! No dude, I didn’t blog this about you. When I had visited your blog, there was only one post, and it was about New York in the winter! It’s all cool dude. You should blog more!

And I agree with you – Andrew’s blog is good. I like the honesty and I can relate to some stuff there. I’m really glad people are coming out of the woodworks and giving me a chance to read their stuff.
